Palmilla Golf Club spent $3.5 million remodeling after Hurricane Odile in 2014. This 27-hole course has spectacular views of the Sea of Cortez. Most aficionados know this course as the “Grand Dame of Los Cabos Gulf”.  This course is stunning and challenging made by Jack Nicklaus his first signature course in Latin America.

 

Puerto Los Cabos

This recently debuted Jack Nicklaus golf course is adjacent to the Marina located en San Jose del Cabo en route to Punta Gorda. This gulf course is expected to have a clubhouse in 2018. In early 2018, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve Hotel will debut with 120 oceanfront and ocean-view villas. The Ritz Carlton will have 4 bedroom homes starting at $4.1 million dollars. In the second quarter they will release condominiums 3 bedrooms & 4 bedroom penthouses. A 2nd nine holes by Greg Norman are planned and are expected to debut for 2019.

The Mission Course, a 3,590-yard, par 36 creation by Norman that serves as the front nine and will one day function as a private club reserved for community homeowners,
has over 400 feet of elevation change. With its large, flashed-faced bunkers used to signpost the fairways and defend the greens, the layout reveals Norman’s fondness for Australia’s classic Sandbelt courses.

The club’s 3,871-yard, par 37 Marina Course, by Jack Nicklaus, features rippling fairways, undulating greens and sculpted bunkers. Intended to be the resort course at
the development, the Marina Course skirts the new Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort and brings players to the sea at the beachside par-3 15th hole, its target a  
tiny green tucked in the dunes. Amazingly, all of the holes on both nines at Puerto LosCabos offer expansive panoramic views of the coastline and sea.

 

Rancho San Lucas Golf Club

This new Greg Norman design located in the Los Cabos corridor is set to open in late 2017 and features 7 holes set in dunes overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The Two-story single-family residences at the Villas at Rancho San Lucas have spectacular views of the desert and ocean. The spacious and quiet luxury condominiums at Rancho San Lucas are exclusive single-story beachfront estate homes.

 

El Chileno Bay & Beach Club

The same owners of El Dorado now own a 1,200- acre private club and community.

A Tom Fazio-designed golf course officially opened late 2016, while the property will also include Chileno Bay Resort & Residences (an Auberge Resorts Collection).  This challenging & beautiful course has vistas of the coastline and the Sierra Laguna Mountains on all 18 holes. On the course there are Comfort stations where you can replenish and recharge at the 4th and 12th holes.

After playing a round, members can enjoy a drink at The Golf House. It’s also fast becoming the spot for breakfast and sunrise-watching. Offering a full suite of amenities, including a bar and grill, Member Shop, and Practice Areas, The Golf House is a comfortable place to take in the incredible hilltop views.
